Job Summary:

As a service technician you will work closely with the parts and delivery departments to ensure timely service. You will install washer/dryers while accurately diagnosing and repairing equipment at the customer’s location. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
• Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced
• Complete invoices
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with clean record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proficiency to navigate tablet/mobile technology
• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
• Monday through Friday and possible weekends 

Job Summary

As a delivery driver / appliance installer you will work closely with the delivery department to ensure timely delivery’s and installations. You will be load appliances into trucks to prepare for delivery’s as well as unloading the trucks at the destinations. You must be proficient in connecting water lines, gas lines and checking for leaks. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent service and customer care during the delivery and installation of appliances at locations
• Assist in unloading and unboxing merchandise
• Deliver new product, move/remove old appliances
• Must have mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things
• Disconnects and reconnects appliance. Ensure all gas and water lines are connected properly
• Observes and test operation of appliance following installation and making any initial installation adjustments that are necessary
• Protect the customer's apartment house or store while working, cleaning work area of all debris
• Maintain professional appearance
• Legibly complete all necessary paperwork
• Collect payment when necessary
• Performs daily safety check on truck
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safely manner
• Cooperate with sales and service departments to share information across the organization
• Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines
• Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
• When needed, overtime is mandatory
• May need to stay out of state for a few days when there are out-of-state delivery.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1-year experience (preferred)
• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
